Army JAG Entry Scheme: Judge Advocate General is a legal and judicial affairs branch of the Army. Recruitment in Judge Advocate General Branch is done through SSB interview.


Indian Army has released the shot notice for Judge Advocate General Entry Scheme (JAG Entry Scheme) 28th Course. This course is for law graduate ie LLB pass women and men. The course will start in April 2022. The application process for this will start from 29 September 2021. Online applications can be made by visiting the Indian Army website https://joinindianarmy.nic.in/ till October 28. The detail notification for Judge Advocate General Entry Scheme will be issued soon. Final year students can also apply for JAG 2021 course along with having completed LLB.

Educational Qualification Required for Indian Army JAG 2021 Course
Three-year degree in LLB or five-year Integrated LLB with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidate should be eligible to register with Bar Council of India.


Age Limit – Minimum age should be 21 years and maximum 27 years for Indian Army JAG 2021 course. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit as per rules. How will the selection in Indian Army Advocate General Course

Shortlisted candidates after applying for Indian Army JAG 2021 course will be called for SSB interview. The selection process for the post of Judge Advocate General is of two stages. The one who passes Stage-I joins Stage-II. This entire interview is of five days. There is a medical test for those who qualify the SSB interview.
